What Hairmetry is
Hairmetry is a free website with information about hair care, hair loss and the research behind it, a quiz that builds a hair routine, and pages about Hairmetry hair products we are developing. It is run from the Netherlands.
Not medical advice
Everything on the site is general, educational information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, dermatologist or pharmacist. Do not start, stop or change a medicine because of something you read here; talk to a doctor first. Read the disclaimer for more.
Your routine and results
Your routine is built by fixed rules from the answers you give. It can only be as accurate as those answers, and it cannot know everything about your health. Use it as a starting point and stop any product or step that irritates your skin or scalp.
Photo analysis
The optional photo feature is for people aged 16 and over. Only upload a photo of yourself. The AI only suggests quiz answers; you confirm them. See the privacy notice for how photos are handled.
Products in development
The Hairmetry products shown on the site are not for sale. Their formulas are proposals and may change. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell or a promise that a product will be released.
Fair use of the site
Please use the site in a normal way. Do not try to break, overload or scrape it in bulk, abuse the email or photo features, or use them to send messages to people who did not ask for them. We may limit or block access to protect the site and its visitors.
Content and links
The texts, design and logo of Hairmetry belong to Hairmetry. You are welcome to quote short parts and share links, as long as you name Hairmetry and link to the page. Studies and other sources we link to belong to their authors and publishers; we are not responsible for their content.
Accuracy and liability
We work hard to keep the information correct and up to date, and we correct mistakes when we find them (see the editorial policy). Still, research changes and errors can happen, so the site is provided as it is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Hairmetry is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the site or from decisions made based on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
