New: our own Hairmetry line. Every ingredient explained

Hairmetry

Editorial policy

How we decide what goes on Hairmetry, how we handle evidence, and how we fix mistakes.

Sources

  • Every claim on the site links to the study or official source behind it, and we cite only sources we have opened and read.
  • We prefer human trials and reviews of many studies over single small studies. We say plainly when a result comes only from lab tests, animals, a handful of people, or research paid for by a company.
  • When studies disagree, we say so instead of picking the result we like.
  • Doses and concentrations are reported as they were used in studies, never as a recommendation.

How pages are written

We use software tools, including AI tools, to help search the literature and draft summaries. Every claim is then checked against its source before it is published, and the routine itself is built by fixed, tested rules, not by an AI.

Medicines

Prescription medicines and procedures are described as information: what was tested, what was found and the side effects. We never recommend them. For those options we always say: talk to a doctor.

Our own products: a conflict of interest

We are developing our own hair products, and your results suggest the ones that fit your routine. That is a conflict of interest, and we want to be open about it.

  • Each product page shows every key ingredient with the study behind it, and the full ingredient list, so you can judge for yourself.
  • The routine advice itself does not depend on our products. Any product with a similar, well-made formula can do the same job.
  • We do not run ads, use affiliate links or take money from other brands.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake? Email [email protected] with the page link and, if you have it, the source. We check every report against the evidence. When we change a claim in a meaningful way, we fix the page and note the change in our records.

Independence

Hairmetry is paid for by its owner. Nobody can pay to be listed, ranked or mentioned.

Conflict of interest: Hairmetry is a free guide, and we are also developing our own Hairmetry products, which your results may suggest. The ranking of routine steps does not depend on the products.
